Don’t miss this opportunity: explore our terminal and come on board!

Just outside the city of Groningen lies the village of Westerbroek: home to ITG Groningen.
As an official depot for Maersk, MSC and Hapag Lloyd, this terminal is an important link in the logistics connection between the port of Rotterdam, the north of the Netherlands and Germany.

ITG Groningen provides full-service container logistics. Transport over water is our core activity. Road transport and the storage and transshipment of containers complete our services. This way, we take care of all the logistics involved in transporting your container.

During this exclusive tour, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at both the terminal and the Sendo Liner. The Sendo Liner is a modern inland vessel designed with sustainability and efficient transport in mind. Thanks to its smart design, the vessel can carry more cargo while reducing fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

In addition, the vessel is equipped with a battery pack, making emission-free sailing possible. The group will be split up so that everyone can visit both locations and see how the vessel and the terminal work together within container logistics. An interesting and varied experience you won’t want to miss!

Visitors are welcome from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Each hour, 20 people can sign up. One group will be given a tour of the vessel and the other a tour of the terminal, and after half an hour the groups will switch.
