During the Easter holidays of 2026, the E313 motorway will be completely closed between Wommelgen and the Antwerp Ring (R1). The Flemish road authority will demolish two existing highway bridges and replace them with new structures.
Period: Friday 10 April (20:00h) until Thursday 16 April (05:00)
these works are planned during the Easter holidays as traffic volumes are generally lower at that time. Nevertheless, significant disruption is expected in the wider Antwerp region. The section of the E313 concerned is one of the busiest traffic corridors in the country, and all traffic will be routed via secondary and local roads.
